Join Walmart's dynamic and dedicated Asset Protection team in Supply Chain as an Area Manager for Asset Protection - All DC/FC, with a focus on supporting our Supply Chain Pharmacy operations. - Develop and implement asset protection policies, procedures, and strategies across Distribution Centers (DC) and Fulfillment Centers (FC), with a focus on Supply Chain Pharmacy operations.
- Conduct investigations into security breaches, theft, vandalism, and safety violations, and report findings to management.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems (e.g., CCTV, fire alarms, refrigeration alarms) and ensure their functionality to prevent unauthorized access and protect assets.
- Coordinate and support OSHA and other regulatory inspections, as well as internal safety and health audits, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and health regulations.
- Implement and monitor loss prevention programs to minimize shrinkage and maintain loss prevention records, generating standard loss and shrinkage reports.
- Ensure that all first aid equipment is operational, supplies are current and fully stocked, and health and safety records are maintained according to OSHA guidelines.
- Participate in root cause identification processes for accidents and create action plans to address audit findings and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Lead and train a team of associates in asset protection practices, emergency procedures, and continuous improvement processes.
- Strong knowledge of asset protection and security policies, practices, and guidelines, as well as environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations.
- Experience with risk management processes, including conducting risk assessments, developing mitigation plans, and supporting regulatory inspections.
- Expertise in using and maintaining security systems and tools for theft prevention and investigations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders, team members, and regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in maintaining safety and health records, conducting internal audits, and applying continuous improvement processes to enhance quality and safety standards.
