Facility Maintenance Technician

Job Description

 

The Facility Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Maintenance Manager or General Manager. This individual will ensure all facility functions support safe & effective site operations.  This role is key to maintaining the facility & creating a positive impression & environment for Tosca team members, leaders, visitors and customers. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

• Repair, maintain/monitor all production and support equipment.  
• Ensure that the ceilings, walls, doors, and windows are presentable and in good repair  
• Conduct all preventative maintenance for facility systems including HVAC, lighting & plumbing.  
• On call maintenance for all facilities matters, 24/7  
• Strong Fabrication & welding skills are preferred. 
• Perform duties assigned per the master sanitation program.  Manage the collection & removal of all facility recyclable & waste materials to maintain good housekeeping and maximizing any related revenue stream for the site.  
• Support CMMS and spare parts inventory management programs  
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned  
• Must be able to work flexible hours  
• Assists other maintenance team members as requested 
• Willing to learn the Maintenance Mechanic job duties to provide support in emergency situations. 
• Must have three years experience.

Qualifications:

 

• General Maintenance Knowledge 
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. 
• Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts. 
• Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches. 
• Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices. 
• Experience performing routine maintenance. 
• Strong organizational and follow up skills. 
• Eye for detail. 
• Professional presentation and attitude. 
• Ability to maintain focus while working individually. 
• Strong time management skills. 
• Must be able to speak English language 

 

Work Schedule

1st shift 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
