The Pharmacy Automation DevSecOps Leader will transform how products are securely developed, tested, and deployed. A successful DevSecOps Leader empowers engineers with technical and process capabilities, streamlining software delivery and elevating operational performance. You will establish governance, set patterns, and instill best practices while serving as DevSecOps Subject Matter Expert to achieve streamlined, high-quality software releases and foster a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility throughout the product lifecycle, all while ensuring an exceptional engineer experience.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum from defining and communicating DevSecOps best practices to enabling and institutionalizing them:

• DevSecOps Tooling and Automation: Identify, implement, and manage tools and technologies that facilitate automation of the continuous integration and delivery process, including security checks and testing within the process

• Ensure that security is seamlessly integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Streamline and automate the continuous delivery process.

• Release Management: Provide direct and indirect support to release management teams (R&D, GCS, Cloud Operations), supporting cloud-based, on-prem, and hybrid environments

• Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs for development, implementation and operations teams to increase their DevSecOps knowledge and awareness

The role goes beyond processes and practices. As the DevSecOps Leader, you will be entrusted with building and leading a team of DevSecOps engineers. Through coaching, timely feedback, and conflict management, you'll continuously raise the bar of technical excellence and professional growth of your team, all while bolstering team morale and cohesion. This role will work collaboratively with development teams, IT and software operations, software architects, security teams, and GCS to ensure that applications and infrastructure are developed, deployed, and maintained securely.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field or related work experience.

• Five (5) or more years of experience in DevSecOps engineering or in roles with hands-on responsibility for developing and implementing CI/CD tools and pipelines

• Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience or demonstrated progressive leadership experience.

• Hands-on experience improving development productivity, collaboration, and security by implementing modern application development workflows and version control systems like GitHub, Gitlab, or Bitbucket

• Hands-on experience designing, configuring, deploying, and managing container management and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

• Experience with virtual network security, firewall rules, and data-in-transit and at-rest encryption.

• Working experience in software engineering and a solid knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Working experience with Agile methodologies.

• Willingness to travel (North America and Europe, <15%)

Desired Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure DevOps experience

• Hands-on experience implementing application security (AppSec) best practices such as SCA, SAST, and DAST, leveraging tools such as SonarQube, Snyk and others.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Experience managing cross-region, multi-product development teams

• Experience working with and leading product(s) in a mixed platform and infrastructure environment
