Our Human Resources organization is going through an evolution to become a scalable function to enable our mission - Build a high-performance culture and increase employee engagement so the business can scale to achieve intelligent and rapid growth and win with customers. In support of this evolution, we are adding a Sales Compensation Manager to our team. This role reports to the Director of Total Rewards and will work closely with existing compensation analysts while focusing on technical expertise and program execution.

Role Overview

Our Compensation team leads the strategy, design, analysis, and communication of eHealth's compensation and rewards programs. As a Compensation Analyst, you will support the execution of our compensation initiatives with a strong focus on incentive calculations and process improvements. Working closely with our experienced Sr. Compensation Analysts, you will help maintain and enhance our compensation tools while ensuring accuracy and compliance in all compensation-related activities. We are looking for someone with exceptional Excel skills and an analytical mindset who can help optimize our compensation processes through automation and improved data management.

What you’ll do:

  • Support our team by maintaining and enhancing Excel-based compensation tools, with a focus on improving calculation accuracy and efficiency through advanced formulas, macros, and data validation techniques

  • Work collaboratively with Sr. Compensation Analysts to process and validate compensation calculations, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of payments while maintaining data integrity

  • Help maintain data quality by implementing Excel-based controls and validation checks, identifying potential issues, and proposing solutions to improve data accuracy

  • Support the execution of compensation programs including incentive calculations, reporting, and data analysis using advanced Excel functions and analytical tools

  • Assist with standard and ad-hoc compensation requests, developing efficient solutions through Excel automation and process improvements

  • Apply strong attention to detail in maintaining confidentiality and compliance with respect to sensitive compensation data and calculations

  • Collaborate with senior team members to document processes and suggest improvements based on your Excel expertise and analytical insights

  • Demonstrate eHealth’s values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions.

Who you are:

  • You are an expert with Microsoft Excel and are able to execute advanced formulas, Power Query, pivot tables, data validation techniques and dashboard creation.

  • You have experience managing large datasets and complex calculations.

  • You love data and have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • You possess a basic understanding of compensation principles and practices.

  • You value communication and possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

  • You can maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  • You enjoy learning and are comfortable with new systems and adapting to process changes.
