Your Role

The Manager - Retail Excellence will play a critical role in designing and executing strategies to build a world class retail experience at GM Dealers across the Middle East. Leveraging their expertise in digital innovation, retail excellence, and project management, the successful candidate will drive the in-store aspect of our omnichannel vision to execution.

Reporting to Head of Omni Channel Experiences, the candidate will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing & technology enablement teams across GM’s vast global operations

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute strategies to support GM Dealers to build a world class retail experience.
• Lead the development of a new connected dealership that delivers a unified omni channel experience across online and offline properties.
• Project manage the roadmap for change, coordinating business and customer requirements and be single point of contact for external partners.
• Be an agent of change for GM Dealers and prolifically communicate best practices and get buy-in for new tactics.
• Collaborate with Field Operations team to ensure adoption of new tactics.
• Become the SME for dealer operations within the Marketing & Digital Experience organizations.

Your Skills and Abilities:
 

Experience & Qualifications:

• The role requires the candidate to have significant domain expertise in:
• Dealer retail operations
• Executing new retail locations i.e., securing location, executing build and launch of new stores.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment, fostering open communication and trust.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and persuade others.
• Strong Strategic Agility, painting a vision and priorities for the organization.  
• Strong Project Management Skills and ability to manage process and time of multiple stakeholders independently. 
• Experience in creating new activations and experience delivery in the automotive, consumer goods/retail and/or tech industries.
• Experience in working at sizable multinational high-level companies with complex Corporate Governance and matrix environments.
• Willingness to be bold and share unconventional ideas or take positions contrary to conventional wisdom; equally, openness to bold ideas from others.
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice to Have:

• Fluency in English, Arabic.
