The ideal candidate has experience with civil transportation design and comprehensive knowledge of roadway projects and developing plans in accordance with local DOT standards. </p> <h5>Location</h5> <p>This position will report to our Franklin or Nashville office on a hybrid work schedule. </p> <h5>The Impact You Will Have</h5> <ul> <li>Work closely with senior staff to deliver transportation projects</li> <li>Ability to work independently within a design team to execute project work plans</li> <li>Be accountable for budgets and schedules provided by the Project Manager</li> <li>Mentor junior staff</li> <li>Interact with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders</li> </ul> <h5>What You Will Need</h5> <ul> <li>A minimum of 4 years of diverse and progressive civil transportation design experience</li> <li>Licensed PE in the state of TN or able to obtain licensure through comity within one year</li> <li>B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering</li> <li>Experience working with public agencies, private entities and/or municipalities</li> <li>Progressive experience with developing plans specifications, and submissions per DOT standards and requirements</li> <li>Excellent communication and client relation skills</li> <li>Strong organizational skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules</li> <li>Advanced use of MicroStation and Geopak. OpenRoads Designer experience a plus</li> <li>Assure compliance with project CA
