This position, within Environmental & Airframe Control Systems (EACS), is for a Senior Service Engineering professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise. You will maintain effective communication and frequent contact with key customers and field team members, perform highly complex diagnostic procedures, and prepare reports for the senior leadership team. In this role, you will identify issues, and help drive the development, planning, and implementation of effective corrective actions for field issues involving mechanical and electrical EACS products.
The position supports work that covers a variety of shifts in a 24-hour/seven-day schedule. As such, there may be a need to support work on occasional nights and / or weekends.
What You Will Do
- Maintain effective communications with key customers and field team members to ensure product enhancements/improvements are complete and accurate.
- Maintain frequent contact with key customers, which requires a high degree of tact and courtesy.
- Act as the expert in product knowledge/subject.
- Perform highly complex diagnostic procedures.
- Prepare reports for senior leadership displaying interpreted test information to resolve design/system related problems and to ensure continuous improvement.
- Communicate technical information to technical/non-technical stakeholders including senior leadership.
- Ensure that key customers and field teams are kept informed on outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, or repairs.
- Act as customer and field service interface.
- Drive improvements based on end user experience.
- Perform corrective actions for field issues, special investigations, and product testing.
- Act as the "voice of the customer" for promoting positive change to our products and processes.
- Drive special investigations internally and with partners, gather field data and assist in root cause analysis, corrective action plans, and implementation.
- Engage all aspects of engineering departments, suppliers, repair centers, engine/airframe manufacturers and aircraft operators.

Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience driving the development, planning, and implementation of timely and effective corrective actions for field issues involving electronic products.
- Experience with aerospace products/systems, mechanical and/or electronic control system products required.
- EACS or Air management systems (AMS) product or system knowledge.
- Aftermarket experience.
- Degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, or systems engineering.
- Experience communicating with all levels of a technical organization (executive to technician).
