Senior Regional Manager, Technical Security

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Regional Manager, Technical Security to join our global logistics organization. This role is mission-critical to safeguarding our operations and infrastructure across warehouse and marine terminal environments. The successful candidate will design, engineer, implement, and project manage cutting-edge physical security systems, supporting business continuity, compliance, and operational efficiency. This leader will interface across departments, regions, and external stakeholders to ensure systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with international standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Design and implement physical security solutions (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems) for business-as-usual operations and new projects

• Mentor and lead BU security teams during technical security system designs

• Conduct site surveys and technical risk assessments; recommend and deploy tailored solutions

• Lead system integration across building technologies (fire, HVAC, IT, lighting) for unified control

• Oversee project lifecycles from scoping and procurement through commissioning and handover

• Partner with integrators and OEMs to develop robust, scalable security solutions

• Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and global security standards (CTPAT, TAPA, ISPS, ISO 28000, TISAX)

• Collaborate with procurement to drive value engineering, vendor selection, and contract execution

• Maintain detailed asset records and ensure service contracts and preventive maintenance plans are in place

• Serve as a liaison to law enforcement and regulatory bodies, support audits, certifications, and investigations

• Develop and deliver training on technical security systems; ensure regional competence

• Serve as a regional SME, bridging BU operations, IT, and project teams

• Align physical security infrastructure with digital security initiatives

• Support incident response, risk analysis, and business continuity planning

• Conduct internal/external compliance audits and maintain readiness for third-party certification

• Ensure smooth change management processes for system upgrades and transitions

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years of experience in security system engineering within a global logistics or infrastructure environment

• Technical certification or vocational training in security systems installation and integration

• Certified or trained in ISO 27001, TAPA FSR/TSR, ISPS, AEO, TISAX preferred

• Proficient in Genetec, Milestone, and related hardware/software platforms

• Advanced knowledge of IP networking, server infrastructure, and cybersecurity alignment

• Experience managing integrators, vendors, and multi-site deployments across countries

• Spanish proficiency preferred, but not required
