The HR Strategy & Operations team within Gartner derives actionable insights from workforce data to recommend and implement better ways of attracting, developing, and retaining Gartner associates to drive growth, higher sales, more productivity, and better client experiences. We drive impact on Gartner’s Mission Critical Priorities by leveraging state of the art technology, analytics, and processes.
As Gartner’s Director of Strategic Insights for People Analytics, you will be a hands-on problem solver who partners across HR & Business leaders to deliver rapid, high-impact analytics solutions that directly drive Gartner’s growth strategy, improve hiring quality, and identify and retain top talent.
What you will do:
Creatively solve challenging problems related to retention, attrition forecast, capacity modeling, headcount projections, productivity, and growth.
Use insights from quantitative and qualitative data to tell a story and influence outcomes across a wide range of executive stakeholders.
Focus on rapid results with high accuracy to enable decision making at senior levels on critical business decisions.
Explore and combine data sets using a mix of published products and ad-hoc wrangling techniques.
Proactively partner with business, HR Leaders, and Functional Centers of Excellence to understand business issues, proactively identify solutions, analyze data and develop insights that drive action.
Align the People Analytics product roadmaps to business priorities .
Prioritize product features to maximize measurable business value. Measure expected and realized business value quarterly.
Ensure product teams, data engineering, and data science teams understand business needs and prioritize product features to maximize measurable business value.
Maintain relationships and lead meetings to ensure planning, prioritization, and visibility to all projects and product enhancements.
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
10+ years of experience in analytics.
Strong knowledge of HR business processes and systems
Strong quantitative and qualitative business analytical skills, including ability to turn analysis into actionable recommendations with measurable business impact
Problem solver, inquisitive, resourceful, organized, growth mindset, customer focused
Ability to influence cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization and work collaboratively in a matrixed environment
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
A bias for action, including balancing tradeoffs, a willingness to roll
