The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, maintaining network/system documentation and be able to make recommendations for network enhacements.This position is contingent upon contract award.  </p><h2><u><b>Essential Job Responsibilities</b></u></h2> <ul> <li>Designs and implements scalable and robust network solutions to support organizational needs.</li> <li>Plans and executes network upgrades and expansion to ensure optimal performance and capacity.</li> <li>Monitors network performance and troubleshoots and resolves highly complex problems to maintain operating efficiency and ensure quality transmission service on the network.</li> <li>Uses subject matter expertise to diagnose and solve issues and has authority to deviate from standard operating procedures.</li> <li>Provides technical guidance to IT staff and end users regarding network related issues.</li> <li>Develops and implements network security policies and procedures to protect the organizations data and resources.</li> <li>Configures and maintains network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs and wireless access points.</li> <li>Implements and manages security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems and VPNs.</li> <li>Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and privacy requirements.</li> <li>Performs regular backup and recovery tests to ensure data integrity and availability.</li> <li>Coordinates with other IT teams to ensure comprehensive business continuity planning.</li> <li>Maintains detailed documentation of network configurations, changes and procedures.</li> <li>Prepares reports on network performance, security incidents and other key metrics.</li> <li>Provides recommendations for network improvements based on analysis and industry best practices.</li> <li>Leads and manage network-related projects from planning through execution and completion.</li> <li>Collaborates with cross functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.</li> <li>Develops and maintains disaster recovery plans to ensure network resilience and continuity in case of emergencies and for combat conditions I, II, and III.</li> <li>Perform all duties as above in austere, disrupted, degraded, intermittent, low-bandwidth (DDIL) environments and combat conditions I, II, and III.</li> </ul><h2><u><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></u></h2> <ul> <li>6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in re
