Technical Writer

We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our Support Team. As a Technical Writer you’ll be responsible for updating and maintaining our online help resources. From help articles to video walkthroughs your role will be to intercept as many support requests as possible. Through deep analysis of how and why our customers use our products and help resources you will help ensure our customers have a seamless experience with our product.

Your Impact

As a Technical Writer at Personify, you will play a crucial role in driving our MC Trade business forward. MC Trade is a user-friendly platform for managing member relationships, optimizing revenue streams and improving member retention. As a Technical Writer, you’ll create clear documentation to help users navigate these features with ease.

Here’s how you will make a significant impact:

• Updating online help and support FAQs
• Create release notes for new releases
• Analyzing metrics based on usage of online help
• Create product walkthroughs to help intercept support requests
• Ongoing improvement of online help via feedback from both customers and staff
• Creation and analyzation of online help site metrics
• Creating video tutorials
• Provide usability feedback to designers and developers
• Presenting new features to employees

What You Bring

We are looking for the best of the best Technical Writer professionals who have demonstrated success in technical writing for a SaaS company and possess the skills to excel in our dynamic environment.

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
• 2+ years working in a SaaS company
• 2+ years writing experience
• Zendesk experience preferred
• Video editing experience
• Experience in documentation or Online help article preferred
• Understanding of a product development lifecycle
• Understanding of UX/UI design
