Why You Will Love this Job:
The Finance Analyst will serve as the strategic finance partner for Power Systems North America Supply Chain, Inventory, and Materials organizations. This role will drive financial oversight, planning and operational execution of inventory management including physical inventories at all Wisconsin locations, Cycle Counting finance management and Excess and Obsolete reporting. In addition, this position leads financial oversight of key cost lines on the P&L including Other Manufacturing Costs, Warehouse and Shipping, Interplant Freight, and Customer Delivery

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain inventory control procedures in NA for raw material, work-in-process, and finished goods
- Analyze, audit and explain significant inventory quantity adjustments identifying root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor, analyze and approve cycling counting processes and results
- Act as Finance Lead for all physical inventories at North America plants and warehouses
- Partner with SIOP and Supply Chain teams to act as a liaison between finance, operations and procurement to align inventory goals
- Generate accurate and timely inventory reports to support monthly and annual SIOP forecasting and executive management reporting.
- Prepare, monitor, and communicate standing of excess & obsolete inventory reserve.
- Prepare, review and analyze inventory related balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support North America P&L line items for Other Manufacturing costs, Warehouse & Shipping, Interplant Freight and Customer Delivery
- Responsible for analyzing and communicating results, monthly forecasting, and setting financial plans
- Partner with Quality department to understand performance versus budget. Review Quality related projects to drive improvement in the organization
- and Warehouse department budget owners to understand performance versus budgets and understand risk/opportunities in these areas.
- Review and manage aged goods received/invoice received (GR/IR) items for North America facilities. Direct Plant Technician in gathering supporting documentation and resolving aged items timely and accurately.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 – 3 years of finance analyst experience preferred
- Communication with cross functional associates at various levels in the organization
- Strong systems aptitude with Microsoft programs (word, excel, teams, SharePoint)
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with SAP, or similar platforms preferred.
