About You

You will be experienced in developing, enhancing, and maintaining high-volume manufacturing production equipment and methods to achieve zero defects. Skilled in utilizing and advancing industrial production tools and technologies including PLCs and vision-based monitoring systems.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple SCADA and PLC integration projects simultaneously with limited supervision within defined timelines. Working on connecting Ignition and Barco to Production lines, building APIs, and integrating them with processes required for business in the S4/Hana
  • Supports production departments with design, debugging, troubleshooting, and continual improvement of production equipment and methods.
  • Programs, configures, and develops sequence of operations for PLC programs on new and existing production equipment.
  • Completes electrical, pneumatic, hardware, and software control design for new and existing workstations, auto stations, and light automation machines.
  • Conducts analysis of and implements vision-based monitoring systems.
  • Recommends, designs, and implements techniques that enhance design performance, reduce cost, and improve production processes and quality.
  • Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Manage OT security requirements.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Specifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering), or equivalent experience, is required.
  • PLC & HMI Programming (Siemens S7 200 & S7 300 PLC) is preferred.
  • Ability to develop dashboards using Ignition SCADA software is preferred.
  • Pneumatic design and build experience is preferred.
  • Vision systems deployment experience is preferred.
  • Programming of FANUC robots is preferred.
