Salary Range: $73,550.00 - $87,900.00  

*As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices 

Position Summary

Under general supervision, provides programmatic and operational support to the Areas of Concentration Program and the Office of Medical Student Research.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates, implements and is responsible for the on-going maintenance of the Areas of Concentration Program.
  • Assists in the recruitment of faculty to serve as AOC Faculty Advisors and Scientific Project Mentors.
  • Ensures the appropriate timing/scheduling of AOC activities and the efficient use of curricular and faculty resources and space.
  • Schedules and coordinates meetings.
  • Meets with students to discuss their AOC projects, goals and expectations.
  • Assists with student orientation.
  • Coordinates the evaluation process for the program.
  • Maintains the program’s website.
  • Maintains electronic and hard copy files and databases. Maintains integrity of information.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field

Experience

Approximately 3 years of related experience coordinating specialty programs

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
