Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Senior Manager, Enterprise Work Movement and Rate Readiness (Level M) to join our dynamic team in Everett, WA; Charleston, SC; Huntsville, AL; Mesa, AZ; Ridley Park, PA; Berkeley, MO.

This role will have responsibility for overseeing the Enterprise Work Movement and Rate Readiness tools and processes. Responsibilities include working with business units for their requirements to improve the Work Movement Management System (WMMS), and SCRS tools along with associated processes. Skills and experience working across business units with IT will be critical for success. Staying apprised of business unit needs will be necessary to understand the future product strategies that supports the business needs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
  • Manages employees and mid level managers from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity.
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift

Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in project management and/or cross-functional integration
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
  • 5+ years management experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ Work Movement and Rate Readiness tools and processes

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
