Premier Truck Group of Kansas City has an immediate job opening for a Collision Center Estimator to perform inspecting damaged vehicles after a collision. Must be able to accurately assess primary and secondary damage, generating detailed repair cost estimates and collaborating with the collision team to ensure a quality / safe repair. Other purpose duties, conducting process reviews, checking in customer vehicles, completing final customer paperwork prior to vehicle delivery including DRP Program Final Invoices, finalizing total loss administration and providing post repair plan communication including all vehicle status updates to customers while complying with all Premier Truck Group / OEM Manufacture guidelines and company standards.
Collision Center Estimator Responsibilities: Inspect heavy duty trucks for damages and evaluate using visual inspection, mechanical testing devices, road tests and information provided by the customerEvaluate necessity and cost of repairsCollect insurance estimates after reviewing damageMeet with customers to discuss damages, repair process and timeline and costsCreate accurate estimates that detail repair and labor costsPlace work orders detailing part replacements and repairs and enter into work management systemMaintain communication with customer and be available to answer questions throughout the repair processKeep record of repair details and complete necessary paperworkEffectively manage multiple repairs simultaneouslyImplement an effective quality check process by inspecting repaired vehicles and ensuring the repair is up to standardComplete final paperwork and payment with customerProvide exceptional customer service at all times and create ongoing relationships with customers 
Collision Center Estimator Requirements: 3 to 5 years or more collision estimating experience, sales experience, must be at least 18 years old, must have a valid driver’s license  Abilities / Skills: Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects above 50 pounds. Must have prior experience in CCC Estimating, Mitchell or Adjustrite estimating software. Must have advanced knowledge of repair process / procedures for automobiles, Recreational Vehicles, class 5, 6, 7, 8. Must be able to understand instructions written or verbal. Able to prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a face-paced environment. Must be able to communicate with insurance companies and understand the insurance companies’ specific repair guidelines.
