You will help improve IT efficiency, integrate digital solutions further into our offering, improve the digital user experience and support our core processes across the value chain.<br/> Your DevOps team, Enterprise services reside within the Core Infrastructure &amp; Network (CIN) Product area - a part of the Digital Solutions area.<br/> CIN is responsible for designing, developing &amp; operating network infrastructure services and security while ensuring enhancements throughout the lifecycle of platforms and services. The area is responsible for WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, Data Center , Cloud networking, and all the supporting systems associated.</p> <p> </p> <p>Digital Solutions &amp; Development &gt; Digital Solutions &gt; Orchestration</p> <p> </p> <p>CIN aims to provide seamless and secure global network services, even ahead of business needs. We have adopted an API-first approach, hiding complexity from our consumers. CI/CD and similar DevOps tools are integral to us and self-service for our end-users is a must in a constantly growing environment.</p> <p><br/> Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>You will bring your deep knowledge of software development, application design and monitoring working with development governance, architecture, implementations and the ongoing maturing of existing platforms and services.</li> <li>Continuing development of our automation platform,  built on Python and Angular2. It implements business logic and orchestrates 10+ backends including NetBox as source-of-truth. </li> <li>These systems are developed in tandem with our evolving network, and you will act as the maintainer of these internal open-source projects, accepting PRs from outside contributors as well as peers.</li> <li>The other main area is network- and application monitoring, based on opensource and developed components. We monitor 5000+ devices in 600+ sites, so both automation and monitoring are crucial to scale.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> <br/> Qualifications </p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's or master's degree in IT, engineering, science or related and experience working with development and support of large networks</li> <li>5-7 years' experience in similar job working with Python and or TypeScript/Angular</li> <li>Relevant software development certifications as an alternative to formal education</li> <li>High degree of experience as a backend, frontend, or full stack developer</li> <li>Experience with some of the following is a clear plusis useful: Networking space, you could be certified CCNA, CCNP or similar, Golang, C#, Vue, OpenAPI, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Jinja2, Influx, ClickHouse, Kafka or Redis</li> </ul> <p> <br/> Competencies</p> <ul> <li>You grow and accelerate your team and constantly refine governance to optimize quality</li> <li>You have a senior attitude, can develop, organize, and plan work in a way that fits your team</li> <li>You promote culture which promotes a safe working environment where mistakes and incidents are valued as opportunities for growth and learning</li> <li>You insist on automating and testing where possible and also motivate your team to follow</li> <li>You balance keeping up and tinkering with new tech with shipping promised features</li> <li>You thrive engaging with users to empower them to run the best network for your 29.000 colleagues</li> </ul> <p> <br/>  <br/> What we offer <br/> We offer the opportunity to be part of the transformation of a global network infrastructure, where you will interact with colleagues in Digital Solutions, business units and outsourcing partners around the world.
