Located in downtown Las Vegas, The Mob Museum is a non-profit museum with a mission of advancing the public understanding of organized crime’s history and impact on American society. Since opening in 2012, the Museum has enjoyed continued growth and success; today the Museum welcomes over 400,000 guests annually.

As an in-house Security Officer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to uphold the Museum’s security and safety standards in keeping with the delivery of a world-class guest experience. Specific responsibilities include responding to security and safety incidents, providing a visible security presence and deterrent inside and outside the Museum, facilitating access control for staff, volunteers, and vendors, investigating security incidents, report writing, and conducting CCTV surveillance. The Museum's Security Officers do not carry firearms.

The Museum is looking for candidates with prior experience in security, law enforcement and/or military roles, along with experience in life safety, evacuation and emergency procedures. Candidates will also demonstrate their understanding of safety and security tools including batons, defense sprays, restraints and PPE.

Preference will be given to candidates available to work a flexible schedule. A PILB card is required along with a TAM card. The ability to speak a language other than English fluently is preferred.
