About the role

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Performs structural carbon, galvanized and stainless-steel welding
2. Performs plasma and oxygen cutting
3. Able to weld, layout, cut and fit parts to meet drawing tolerances
4. Regulate current, voltage and select proper tips, rods and sizes for various types of welding according to individual job requirements
5. Manipulate electrode in proper sequence and use care to lay smooth and even bead of required width. (Avoid undercutting of metal)
6. Perform iron work, arc gouging, blueprint reading
7. Use hand or power tools to clean equipment after welding
 

Will be required to train on 1st shfit 6am - 2pm for up to 90 days.

2nd shift 2pm to 10pm Monday - Friday

Starting rate $27.75
