We're looking for an experienced Visual Merchandiser to help us in our warehouse and merchandise departments! Step on up, we'd love to chat with you!

What you get to do:

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory in all Merchandise locations

  • Work with the Merchandise Admin and location teams to execute accurate in-park and warehouse cycle counts

  • Monitor product quantities for all locations to ensure no out-of-stock issues

  • Run weekly reporting on sales information, and alert Managers and Park Support of any active products with low remaining WOS

  • Work with Park Support team to order drinks, ice cream, photo paper, and any other locally sourced items that the park previously ordered

  • Work with Managers and Park Support team to track new product arrivals and re-orders to ensure timely product release or replenishment

  • Work with Park Support to ensure all product pricing is correct, and with the local Warehouse team for any re-pricing needs

  • Responsible for running the Merchandise Department’s Annual Physical Inventory both in-park and at the Warehouse location

  • Responsible for all pre-inventory prep work and post-inventory reconciliation

  • Assist other departments with product needs such as items for giveaways, incentives, guest recovery, etc.

  • Responsible for all End of Month reporting, and yearly IM&R

  • Assist the Admin team with Mail Order guests and transactions

  • Assist in all Pin Trading preparations and refreshes (pin lanyards, trading boards, Pin Event prep)

  • Monitor all Name Programs (Mugs, Bracelets, Street Signs, Leather Treaty) and work with Park Support to place appropriate and timely re-orders

  • Assist the Merchandise Leadership team in all department supervisory capacities including department duty manager responsibilities

  • Oversee the performance of all department team members and leadership while on duty

  • Manage daily department labor to accommodate changing business needs, daily break rotations and daily staffing assignments

  • Resolve all Guest Service matters for the department in a professional and timely manner

  • Provide exemplary service and ensure Merchandise Standards are met consistently

  • Responsible for the training and counseling of team members, assistant supervisors and supervisors while ensuring and complying with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards

  • Ensure compliance of Labor Laws with regards to breaks and hours worked per day

  • Establish and maintain a positive atmosphere which ensures the highest level of team member engagement, while supporting and demonstrating exemplary guest service

  • Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) lifting and reporting unsafe situations

  • Support and demonstrate the SEAS

What it takes to succeed:

  • At least three years of theme park merchandise leadership experience with no significant performance deficiencies within that period.

  • High School Diploma Required

  • Availability that meets the business needs of the position; including ability to work a flexible schedule, to include nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment; must be able to work independently

  • Possession of a high level of problem-solving, analytical, verbal and written communication skills

  • Possession of a knowledge of computer programs and databases including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required; Knowledge of MMS preferred

  • Ability to push/pull/lift/carry 50 lbs or more on an occasional basis; frequent extensive walking, standing, occasional climbing; work environment varies from indoors in air-conditioned
