The Senior Director of Indirect Sales is responsible for leading and managing a team of Partner Account Executives to drive revenue growth within the payer and partner space. This includes developing and executing partner strategies, identifying new business opportunities, establishing relationships with key clients, and providing guidance and support to the sales team. Additionally, the Senior Director of Indirect Sales is responsible for analyzing market trends and customer needs to continuously improve performance and drive business growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with the company's overall objectives and revenue goals.
- Lead and manage the Indirect sales team, providing mentorship and guidance to help them meet their individual and team goals.
- Collaborate with other departments (such as marketing, product, medical affairs and product development) to ensure that the sales team has the necessary resources and support to effectively hit their targets.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and use this information to inform future sales strategies.
- Maintain relationships with key partners, and actively seek out new business opportunities.
- Establish and maintain a strong sales culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and a focus on achieving results.
- Partner in developing and managing the sales budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet sales targets and support business growth.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for new partnerships to help the company stay ahead of the competition.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance (forecasting, pipeline health, etc) and present these to leadership, providing insight into key metrics such as revenue, customer acquisition, and market share.
What we expect from you:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
- Experience managing partnerships and a diverse sales team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform sales strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Deep understanding of the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and closing
- Ability to develop and implement sales plans and strategies, and make strategic decisions to achieve identified objectives
- Familiarity with CRM and other sales-related tools and technologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and adapt to changing business needs
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve results
The target salary range for this position is $156,600 - $203,700 annually, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
