Administrative Assistant
(Tampa - Full-time/Onsite)
Fisher Phillips, a premier international labor and employment law firm, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this essential role, you will help ensure the smooth operation of our services, directly supporting our attorneys in delivering exceptional client service and upholding our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, scan, and save incoming mail and correspondence into the firm’s document management system.
- Provide backup support for secretarial tasks, including scanning, copying, and other clerical duties.
- Assist with docketing to ensure accurate scheduling and deadline management.
- Assist with attorney timesheets.
- Monitor and replenish kitchen and office supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including daily housekeeping duties.
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure a clean and professional appearance in the reception area and lobby.
- Schedule conference rooms as needed.
- Assist with meeting setup, including ordering and arranging lunches and refreshments.
- Assist with the opening of new client matters.
- Ensure all conflict check requirements are met in accordance with firm policies.
- Balance and prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining professionalism.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Other duties as assigned by the office administrator.

Requirements
- College degree and minimum of 2 years secretarial or administrative experience in a related environment is required; 3 years legal experience is preferred.
- Intermediate-advanced skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.
- Experience with working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of the firm business process and business operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
The hourly rate range for this position will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, location, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
