Business and Data Analyst [U.S. Citizenship Required]

Type: Full-time Employee (W-2) position

About the Role:
We’re looking for a talented Business and Data Analyst to join our growing team! In this dynamic role, you’ll ensure the quality, reliability, and security of cloud-based systems and applications that support mission-critical objectives for our client. You’ll uphold rigorous security standards and apply robust quality assurance processes across the development and deployment lifecycle to deliver impactful solutions for the client.

**Candidates must meet public trust clearance requirements

Basic Requirements:

• 3+ years of technical experience designing and deploying secure, scalable cloud solutions
• Bachelor’s degree or higher 
• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN AND RESIDE IN THE U.S. All work must be performed in the U.S.
• Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Public Trust U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as this work is for a federal government client. Candidates will need to successfully complete a Background Investigation (BI) and credit check prior to beginning work. Nothing in applicants’ history should prevent them from obtaining a public trust security clearance.
  
  

Technical and Skills Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant data analysis experience: Lead engagements with stakeholders to document and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with client objectives and compliance standards. Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on project scope and goals.
• Data Visualization: Develop and maintain data visualizations using tools such as R, Tableau, and Power BI to support decision-making 
• Technical Liaison: Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions. Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation and testing of these solutions. Work closely with developers to refine and iterate on functionality during the development process.
• Documentation and Analysis: Translate business requirements into detailed technical requirements. Develop comprehensive business requirement documents and process flow diagrams to communicate needs effectively. Analyze business processes and requirements to support the development and refinement of program epics and user stories.
• Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Partner with design and technology teams to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions. Drive actions to resolution, ensuring that developed solutions meet the specified requirements and business needs.

Strongly Preferred: 

• Government sector experience, especially with DHS
• Current holder of public trust clearance.
• AWS Certification such as Certified Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator/Developer
• Terraform Certified Associate
• 2+ years of experience developing applications for large-scale business customers
• 2+ years of experience using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or Scrum methodology.
