Description
Trailer Equipment—Trailer X-Press has an urgent need for a Service Truck Technician at our Byron Center location. We are actively seeking to hire two technicians immediately.
As a Service Truck Technician - Semi Trailer, you will be exposed to a diverse range of work environments. This includes working in the shop, outdoors in different weather conditions, at heights, and in dusty areas. You will also handle various tools, chemicals, and equipment.

- Welding experience
- Data entry experience
- Are highly motivated and able to learn new tasks, processes, and policies.
- Ability to obtain State Certifications
- Experience writing detailed service reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- As a Service Truck Technician, you will Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair semi-trailers.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance work on customer semi-trailers.
- Service/Repair work on items diagnosed, ranging from mechanical to electrical work.
- Identify any parts required for repair or service.
- As a Service Truck Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance in compliance with DOT safety regulations.
- As a Service Truck Technician, you will help maintain positive working relationships with current and future customers.

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
Experience:
- Must have at least one year of trailer mechanic experience.
- Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass the DOT physical and drug screen.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
