Ascension Saint Thomas Rehabilitation Hospital is a 40- bed inpatient acute care rehabilitation hospital located in Nashville, Tennessee. 

 

How you’ll contribute 

Rehabilitation Therapy Manager who excels in this role:

  • Leads rehabilitation services by overseeing patient assessment, treatment planning, scheduling, and productivity standards. 

  • Ensures high-quality, evidence-based therapy delivery; collaborates with physicians and families; and maintains departmental compliance with applicable inspections and policies.

  • Perform appropriate assessments on residents referred for therapy; observe/evaluate treatments and recommend changes to the physician as needed.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of rehabilitation modalities and develop teaching plans based on resident learning needs; involve families as appropriate and evaluate learning effectiveness.

  • Assess pain that interferes with participation in rehabilitation and contact the physician for appropriate intervention.

  • Oversee scheduling of treatments and maintain departmental productivity standards.

  • Ensure compliance with departmental inspections and documentation requirements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Information

  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize outcomes. 

  • Supports quality improvement efforts, safety initiatives, and consistent application of rehabilitation standards and protocols.

  • May assist with staff coaching, competency validation, and workflow optimization.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current Tennessee licensure in addition to: 

  • Education/Licensure: Current state licensure/certification as RPT and/or Speech Pathologist, or OTR certified by NBCOT; current BCLS certification.

  • Experience: At least one (1) year of management experience in rehabilitative medicine.
