Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking an Experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in Patuxent River, MD. This role will support the MQ-25 test program. Extended travel to remote sites may be required.

Position Responsibilities:

• Successful candidate will support the development and verification of test methods

• Develops detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan

• Develops solutions to calibration systems problems of limited scope and impact

• Designs test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements

• Uses analytical tools to verify the design

• Analyzes, processes, and formats data to customer requirements

• Reviews test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer

• Prepares and publishes test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements

• Presents test results internally

• Archives data and reports

• Trains others

• Works under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

• Basic knowledge of analog signal processing

• Knowledge of electrical engineering

• Knowledge of data system function

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering

• Experience with Instrumentation Data Systems

• Experience with Analog / Digital Signal Processing

• Experience in the production of Electrical Schematics

• Experience troubleshooting data system / sensor anomalies

Shift:

This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $102,00.00 - $138,00.00
