Summary Description:

This position is responsible for leading the CRM team in supporting company strategies by delighting customers with excellent service, resolving customer account issues, and serving as a liaison between their Sales Partners and Operations Partners.

 

What will your day look like?

  • Lead a team of Logistics and Compliance Coordinators dedicated to customer account excellence. This includes the responsibility for routing, carrier management, off-shelf event planning, order timeliness, executions and compliance with relevant metrics.
  • Proactive communication to Logistics leadership concerning workload fluctuations, new customer requirements, prioritization of outstanding shipments, and holiday planning.
  • Perform updates to both internal and external customers on projects, metrics and any other relevant issues.
  • Is familiar with customer expectations and can therefore challenge existing practices to improve customer service. 
  • Review monthly Customer Penalties report with direct reports, establish baseline for preventable penalties, cost of business, and disputable fines, and implement process improvements to reduce charges.
  • Work with multiple internal departments to help ensure production timing is in line with customer timing.

  • Defines, implements, and holds team to KPI’s.
  • Research trends and root causes of issues as they arise and identify solutions that best address them, accurately analyze the most critical facts to understand problems.
  • Leads / participates in continuous improvement committees. 
  • Building and cultivating team member morale, motivation, and engagement. Aligning own and team’s efforts with the Gorilla Way strategies and direction.
  • Develops team to full potential and drives accountability.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications

What you bring to the table?

  • College degree plus 5 years’ experience
  • Prior knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems including implementation and administration (Oracle OTM and/or WMS preferred)
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The position requires the use of analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to lead cross functional projects of assorted sizes.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to make timely decisions and recommendations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, including but not limited to performance management (employee evaluations, discipline, corrective action, coaching), the ability to develop others and hold your team acco
