CarOffer fully became part of the CarGurus family in 2023, and is an industry leader in the digital wholesale marketplace. We are automating a dealer’s ability to buy, sell, and trade cars. Role overview

CarOffer is expanding its engineering team, and actively seeking a Full Stack Developer to spearhead multiple exciting initiatives. This role involves addressing challenges of any scale and contributing to pivotal projects centered on state-of-the-art technologies.

What you'll do

• Develop and take ownership of user interfaces for both new and existing web reports.
• Establish and maintain backend Web APIs.
• Engage in collaboration with engineers across different teams to implement new web features.
• Develop and implement unit tests to ensure the robustness of web applications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects within the products.

What you'll bring

• The successful candidate will be required to perform their duties onsite in the CarOffer's Addison, TX office.
• Proficient understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, Object Oriented Design, and Design Patterns.
• Strong expertise in C# and the .NET framework.
• Proficient skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and familiarity with Angular1 and ReactJS frameworks.
• Proficient debugging abilities using Visual Studio IDE.
• Sound understanding of web functionalities.
• Fundamental knowledge of SQL and T-SQL.
• 5+ years of experience working with SaaS web applications.
• Basic understanding of Git for source control.
• Experience utilizing Jira for project management.
• Comfortable and experienced in small, agile work environments that emphasize efficiency.
• Excels in environments with minimal direction, thriving in a culture of trust and autonomy.
