Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking an Entry-Level Software Engineer in Maryland Heights, MO. This position is part of the Weapon Planning Software (WPS) team that is responsible for the development and maintenance of weapon planning software products for the USAF and USN. In this role, there will be opportunities to develop software for the legacy Windows-based Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) and opportunities to migrate weapon planning functionality to the next-generation mission planning tech stack.

Position Responsibilities:

  • With general supervision, develops, documents, maintains and unit tests code by utilizing software development environments and programming languages (C#, JavaScript, React)

  • Develops, documents and maintains software design by applying established methods and practices

  • Performs troubleshooting of defects. Collaborates with others to propose solutions to problems

  • Assists in the specification and maintenance of software requirements

  • Integrates and compiles software components into builds

  • Tests limited component level software in the target environment

  • Documents deployed processes and tools and collect metrics

  • Performs troubleshooting of operational and integration issues; gathers and documents supporting data

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in C#

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum

  • Experience with JavaScript

  • Experience with Relational Databases

  • 1+ years of experience in full software development life-cycle

  • Experience with AWS, C2S, or other cloud environments

Summary base pay range $67,000 - $75,600
