About the team

Our support team supports TouchPoint Teller and TouchPoint Sales and Service technology for US clients.

TouchPoint Teller complements traditional teller responsibilities by automating all monetary transactions, inquiries, compliance requirements, and administrative functions while providing a reliable store-and-forward environment to ensure transactions are not lost. Enhanced navigation features, image capture, and automated decisioning mitigate the effect of these changes on the teller. The solution also extends traditional teller responsibilities by providing expanded service and sales functions. It proactively displays cross-sell opportunities for tellers to act upon or refer to other areas of the institution.

TouchPoint Sales and Service is a suite of customer interaction solutions that help financial institutions enhance sales and service through all delivery channels, including the branch, the contact center, the Internet and their network of relationship managers

What you will be doing:

As a Technology Business Consultant Senior, you will be responsible for helping the customer and the support team break down complex business requirements into stories to deliver product functionality that solves problems impacting some of the largest banks in the U.S. You will work with the team to conduct gap analysis against existing functionality/frameworks, collaborate with software architects on functional design, and develop detailed functional specifications.  You will empathize with both the clients and the software developers to reach solutions that achieve the best balance of business objectives and software design. You will help ensure that the product is well tested and documented.

• Works individually or within a team on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirements.
• Serves as liaison between end-users and consultants during consulting projects.
• Expertly researches and documents client needs, technology, or regulations related to system design, enhancement, and acquiring hardware or software that will impact multiple platforms and/or applications.
• Defines product scope, objectives, and requirements. Defines specifications and data models for product development and testing.
• Analyzes vendor products and services for application downstream effect, etc. Also analyzes impacts to other systems and procedures.
• Writes test plans and test cases to ensure enhancements made to applications meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained.
• Conducts a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness, and acceptance tests. Conducts tests to be certain client needs will be met.
• Influences clients, business partners, and service providers regarding priorities, hardware/software selection, and/or vendor selection.

What you bring:

• In-depth knowledge of FIS products and services and financial services industry.
• Advanced knowledge of multiple end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative, and other modern approaches to software development and conversion methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Attention to detail with an eagerness to learn and a curiosity to understand the business objectives/needs behind the requirements.
• Proven ability to develop expertise and influence both business and technical decisions to reach the best overall solution.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication (both verbal and written), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Resourceful, proactive, self-motivated with a willingness to dig and research to find solutions.
