Shift Lead - Woodbury

Job Summary

All Chip City associates should be Courteous, Happy, Informative, and precise. Shift Leads are responsible for supporting the proper and effective operation of their assigned retail store. This role requires individuals to support with the the day-to-day work and operations of lower-level employees to ensure adherence to organization guidelines.  We work as a team to accomplish our daily goals.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Assists in developing a team that is knowledgeable about Chip City products and
  delivers excellent customer service
• Trains new employees and provide ongoing education for employees
• Motivates the sales team to deliver results
• Leads by example to meet performance-based metrics including sales, upselling,
  loyalty program enrollments, Chip City apps downloads, email marketing
  enrollments, and more
• Assists in quality control and holding the team accountable to standards
• Supports in monitoring inventory levels and ordering items accordingly
• Aids with store compliance with health and safety regulations
• Communicates any issues or feedback to General Manager/Team Leader
• Serves as a key holder ensuring successful store openings/closings
• Performs other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing
• Ability to navigate a bakery, stockroom, office, and lift up to 30 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time
• Ability to work in a high-temperature environment with commercial ovens
• May need to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Required to be on-call to handle emergency situations and provide support to team during business hours

Education and Experience:

• 1 year or more of supervisory experience in the food industry
• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent customer service, time management, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices
• Ability to serve customers quickly, efficiently, and kindly
• Knowledgeable about company’s products and services, and customer-related policies
• Food Handlers Certification or be willing to complete (In Required Areas)
• Successful completion of on-the-job training.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
