Job Summary:The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA), Strategic Enterprise Technology (ASET) is seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Project Manager to join our team. As the central IT organization for Arizona state government, ASET, led by the State CIO, is responsible for developing and executing the statewide IT strategy. We provide essential IT infrastructure and services to state agencies, ensuring the continuity of critical systems and services for all Arizonans.
Our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) plays a vital role in this mission by delivering reliable and secure IT solutions that align with Arizona’s Strategic IT Plan. The ideal candidate will be part of a highly skilled project management team dedicated to superior customer service and successful project execution. This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency, accessibility, transparency, and security of digital services while promoting data-driven innovation and collaboration across state government.
The State of Arizona strives for a work culture that affords employees flexibility, autonomy, and trust. Across our many agencies, boards, and commissions, many State employees participate in the State’s Remote Work Program and are able to work remotely in their homes, in offices, and in hoteling spaces. All work, including remote work, should be performed within Arizona unless an exception is properly authorized in advance.

This includes developing and maintaining detailed project plans, status reports, risk registers, issue logs, and other essential project artifacts throughout all project phases. Provide clear, concise, and timely communication of project status, risks, and changes to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
- Contribute to the EPMO's continuous improvement initiatives by contributing to the evolution of project management best practices, identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery methodologies, and ensuring that all projects align with the overarching strategic objectives of the organization.
