The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of engineering principles and practices, familiarity with CAD software and other engineering tools and be currently pursuing a 4 year/ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
-Pursuing Bachelors of Science Degree from an accredited university in a related field (Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical, etc)
-Familiarity with engineering design and development tools (e.g. CAD, simulation software)
-Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and concepts
Desired skills
-Familiarity with Agile processes
-Strong academic performance
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to work on interdisciplinary project
-Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques (e.g. SysML, UML)
-Experience with integration and testing of complex systems
-Familiarity with requirements management and analysis tools

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office
