About the role

Amalgamated Bank is seeking an Online branch Services Administrator to be responsible for the administration, procedural controls and processing of all aspects pertaining to the Online account opening.  Keep abreast of product upgrades, identify risk and exposure, between the online branch team, vendors, and other pertinent Bank departments

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Administer and maintain the online banking application and enrollment approval process
  2. Coordinate end-user verification with the respective Amalgamated branch and/or department
  3. Create, distribute and verify relevant daily reports through various systems/applications to keep customer information current across all pertinent applications
  4. Maintain applications to keep customer information current across all pertinent applications
  5. Work with relevant daily reports from various systems and applications to ensure operational and risk compliance with Bank policy procedures and controls
  6. Create and maintain all electronic logs associated with the Online Banking product by using Microsoft Office or other computer applications
  7. Review applications, reports, and other Online Banking documentation for accuracy
  8. Communicate with customers and branch personnel via email, interoffice mail and telephone to resolve problems regarding all facets of the Online Banking services.  Follow up on outstanding issues or documents to ensure timely completion and resolution of all processes
  9. Administration of the various online banking services, the operational functions and technical support to Bank’s customers.  Using all prescribed means to ensure customer satisfaction
  10. Back up all functions related to the Online Branch as needed
  11. Research and respond to customer’s inquiries regarding online account opening
  12. Perform all RBR duties such as stop payment, check orders, atm/debit card orders, claims, statement requests, and other pertinent customer requests
  13. Assist online officers in performing various online branch functions and branch reports, as requested
  14. Knowledge and use of the Bank’s system to keep current with updates to policy and procedures
  15. Assist with fraud investigations
  16. Monitor Online Fraud System, contact customer regarding suspicious transactions to verify the legitimacy of the transaction
  17. Perform all aspects of opening and maintaining a variety of accounts in accordance with Bank policy and procedure, including but not limited to the Bank’s CIP and customer service policies. 
  18. Proactively present and cross sell bank products, through probing questions and offer appropriate products and services based on customer responses. This is accomplished by utilizing the Client Relationship Notes form with current or potential customers. Participate in Bank promotions
  19. Perform various related administrative duties as directed by manager

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  4. Excellent customer service skills
  5. Knowledge of branch banking
  6. Thorough knowledge of Bank wide operations
  7. Minimum two (2) years of related banking reconcilement experience
  8. Good mathematics and investigative skills
  9. Knowledge of compliance laws
  10. Prior data entry experience required


Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this role is between $25 per hour – $27 per hour. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferrable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
