About the role
Directs the staff and activities in support of branding initiatives to organize the master brand, sub-brands and offerings and services. Takes ownership of complex challenges in brand architecture, guidelines, and brand usage, and provides strategic advice and guidance on brand usage and development that drive the integrity across our brand ecosystem. Operates the Brand Center, and seeks ways to optimize and modernize the experience and effectiveness as a brand-appreciation channel

Responsibilities:
- Leads and develops strategic brand development projects and ongoing workflows to maintain and build health of our master brand and more than 50 sub-brands across Northwell’s system.
- Leads brand development and corporate identity work thru architecture and standards, and monitors application of standards and guidelines.
- Guides and approves execution of all brand usage across physical/retail i.e signs, vehicles, employee clothing; digital/social ie the brand's social profiles and web pages; and marketing communications, ie ads, presentations, brochures.
- Manages online centralized brand asset center to grant access and guide usage of logos, collateral templates, photography, ad campaigns, videos, etc. across the organization.
- Maintains brand governance and monitors brand compliance; develops and tools, including brand architecture, visual identity, tone of voice guidelines and brand story.
- Maintains and builds relationships with external branding agencies and vendors; collaborates with internal partners on brand usage across the enterprise and maintains a deep understanding of brand performance metrics to guide all work and recommendations. Develops brand training sessions, and addendums to the guidelines to address specific needs and common questions.

- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 8+ years of relevant experience required
