What you will be doing:
In this position, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Care Facility Licensing Surveyors who maintain a statewide workload of licensed childcare facilities, including conducting on-site inspections and investigations to determine compliance with the State of Alaska Child Care Licensing Statutes, Regulations, and Policies and Procedures. You will apply knowledge of Child Care Licensing requirements to providers, partner agency members, and the general public.
Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing, approving, and issuing Reports of Inspection, Reports of Investigation, Notices of Violation, Enforcement Actions, and ensuring the child care facility is in full compliance before the issuance of a Child Care License.
This Postion Requires Occasional Travel within the State of Alaska.

This position is located in the Anchorage Child Care Program Office at the Frontier Building. Located in midtown Anchorage, Alaska.
