We Are Hiring: Surgical Technologist - Full Time
Schedule: 0630-1500/1700, on call requirements
Compensation: $29.40/Hr starting pay, hourly rates are based on experience. Sign on bonus eligible.
At Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital we perform procedures including General/vascular, Orthopedics, Urology, GYN, dental, & ENT. Our 8 operating rooms, renovated in May 2020, include new system integration for more efficient flow during surgery.
As an Orthopedic Center of Excellence we provide an array of orthopedic procedures including same day discharge procedures for total joints. We utilize the Depuy VELYS Robot to complete Robotic assisted total knee replacements.

The 7 Operating Room suites at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital see an average of 3000 procedures annually. General/vascular, Orthopedics, GYN and ophthalmology are the primary procedures performed here. This team performs approximately 100 Orthopedic Mako Robotic procedures annually
What You Will Do:
Surgical Technologist functions as the scrub person. Works under the direct supervision of an RN or physician to facilitate safe and effective care during invasive and operative procedures. They ensure that the OR is safe, equipment is functioning properly and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Facilitates a physician's performance of invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures.
What You Will Need:
- Associates Degree
- Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technologist program CST preferred or equivalent military training program.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a surgical technologist in the same area or in similar day-to-day situations in a hospital operating room setting.
- AST membership preferred
- Minimum License BLS (CPR)
- Experience (or interest) in Orthopedics and Neurosurgery preferred

The Day Surgery department is an outpatient surgical unit that provides care before and after surgery, heart catherization procedures, radiology procedures, and GI procedures. Although the majority of patients are discharged the day of their procedure, some are admitted to critical or acute care units. ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial is certified by The Joint Commission as a Joint Replacement Center of Excellence. Offers the MAKOplasty® and Anterior Hip Arthroplasty procedure to patients.
