Fall 2026 Information Technology Internship
Internship Overview
We are looking for a motivated and curious IT Intern who is passionate about technology and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, staying organized, and learning about computers, networking, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems. The IT Intern will assist with day-to-day IT operations, help maintain technology assets, support conference room technology, and contribute to keeping our IT environment organized and running efficiently.
You don't need to know everything—we're looking for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys figuring out how technology works, takes pride in staying organized, and is excited to learn. If you're the type of person who enjoys building computers, experimenting with new technology, automating tasks, or exploring networking and cloud platforms, we'd love to meet you.
This internship is offered for academic credit only and is intended for students who are eligible to receive internship credit through their college or university. This internship will run from September- December 2026.
Specific Responsibilities
· Perform routine inspections of conference room technology, including displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing equipment.
· Ensure meeting rooms are clean, organized, and fully operational before business meetings.
· Organize, label, inventory, and maintain IT equipment, cables, adapters, peripherals, and storage areas.
· Assist with computer deployments, workstation setups, and hardware replacements.
· Help maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation.
· Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, printer, and peripheral issues.
· Assist with imaging, configuring, and preparing laptops and desktops for new employees.
· Support user account setup and other routine IT administrative tasks.
· Learn and assist with networking equipment, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and infrastructure projects.
· Gain exposure to cloud platforms, cybersecurity best practices, identity management, and modern IT operations.
· Participate in IT improvement projects and process documentation.
· Keep IT workspaces, server rooms, and storage areas neat, organized, and secure.
· Provide friendly, professional customer service to employees requesting technical assistance.

Preferred Qualifications
· Pursuing a degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
· Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft 365.
· Basic understanding of computer hardware and peripherals.
· Exposure to networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, switches, routers) is a plus.
· Interest in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
· Experience building PCs, homelabs, or personal technology projects is a plus.
