Adult Recovery Coach

The Adult Recovery Coach coordinates and/or directly provides covered behavioral health services to address individual client needs. The Adult Recovery Coach serves as a participating and facilitating member of the client’s team by providing services individually or as part of a team. The Adult Recovery Coach provides case management, education, system navigation, advocacy, and support.
Range of Pay :
Billable Rate: $28
Non-Billable Rate: $16
Blended Rate (PTO/Training): $22
Bilingual: add $1 to billable rate
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement individual service plans (ISP) and crisis plans.
- Facilitates the Adult Recovery Team (ART).
- Assist clients in navigating the behavioral health system.
- Aid the client in the identification and development of natural supports.
- Assist and support clients to follow through on prescribed medical interventions and diagnostic testing
- Collaborate with mental health professionals to create crisis intervention plans tailored to the client’s situation.
- Assess and address barriers to health
- Ensures that all services, procedures, and forms provided are culturally relevant, linguistically appropriate and gender responsive (including Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ).
- Ensures that all clients are seen according to contract requirements.
- Maintains accurate and confidential records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes and documents all records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Completes the required number of job-related trainings according to all state and contractual required guidelines.
- Ensures the safety, health, and welfare of staff and clients at all times.
- Acts as a positive role model and mentor for children, parents, and their families.
- Treats others with respect, confronts negative behavior, and supports confrontation.
- Attends and participates in all required meetings including individual supervision and team meetings.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma and 2 years of experience, or Associate’s degree with at least 1 year experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Psychology, or an unrelated Bachelor’s degree with one year of experience in the mental health field, or Master’s Degree in Social Services or related field without AZ state licensing
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid unrestricted Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Minimum age requirement is 21.
- Must meet the requirements of a safe driver.
- Must possess a current Arizona State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (5) years.
- Must have personal vehicle liability insurance and vehicle registration as required.
- When required, the ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, and if requested a physical exam.
- Must obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification upon hire.
- Strong knowledge of the behavioral health systems processes, practice, and components.
