The Opportunity

The OHS Supervisor is responsible for the hiring, training and direction of Occupational Health Services staff members performing data entry, administrative duties and follow-up calls to clinics related to Health eScreen service events.

The OHS Supervisor is also responsible for emails, faxes and phone calls, with timely issue resolution; and managing occupational health services that require custom workflows.

What You’ll Work On

  • Excellent Customer Service skills required to handle escalated calls from Occupational Health Services queue.

  • Review client account reports to evaluate trends in Turn-Around Time (TAT), cancellation rates, no-show rates, and incomplete event follow-up.

  • Collaborate with National Accounts team to serve as occupational health resource, provide answers to questions regarding standard occupational health.

  • Train new team members. Training will include but is not limited to; the departmental policies and procedures for coordination/completion of appointment requests and associated communication with clients/clinics.

  • Collaborate with staff in managing assigned accounts to include completion of all identified team processes.

  • Ensure resolution of escalated issue with communication to client. Escalate all unresolved issues to OHS Manager

  • Ensure resolution of escalated issues with communications to clinics. Escalate all unresolved issues to Senior Supervisor.

  • Perform all managerial duties including (but not limited to) staff hiring, training, project management, goal tracking, performance review, career development, and daily supervision over designated department personnel.

  • Manage staff PTO, timecards, work schedules, training, and onboarding.

  • Oversee daily work of designated subordinates.

  • Provide on-going and as-requested team productivity reports for department leadership.

  • Coordinate escalated and special projects as determined by department leadership.

  • Work to ensure all staff have the tools and resources as necessary to perform job functions.

  • Addresses and retrains staff as needed when quality issues are identified

  • Monitors client facing mailboxes for TAT and ensures appropriate/timely responses

  • Responsible for gathering daily data required for Management Operating System (MOS) tier 1/2/3 meetings; leading and/or participating as required

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred

  • Minimum 6 months experience in OHS team lead or OHS SME role preferred
