Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior System Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to provide technical assistance to the Director of M&S Enterprise Engineering, who is responsible for chairing design reviews, establishing architecture and design standards, managing Enterprise Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and synchronizing M&S across the Agency. 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform analyst duties to elicit stakeholder requirements and mission needs

  • Define requirements and perform functional analysis

  • Draft and review technical documents

  • Support technical reviews

  • Facilitate M&S and digital engineering transformation initiatives

  • Represent Enterprise Engineering in agency tiger teams and working groups

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Master’s Degree in applicable field and 12+ years of related professional experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of Master’s degree

  • Secret clearance

  • Extensive Ballistic Missile Defense System (MDS) domain experience working in MDA

  • Experience with definition, design, development, verification and validation, and analysis of MDS M&S (ground test and constructive or distributed virtual simulation of the MDS and its elements and components)

  • Experience with analysis, test, and systems engineering of M&S for one or more elements of the MDS (i.e. Patriot, THAAD, GMD, Sensors, or C2)

  • Exposure to MDA test events and activities supported by M&S products and services

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Practical experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and other languages typically used for M&S (i.e. MATLAB)
  • MS or Ph. D. in applicable field desired
  • Creative thinking, problem solving, analytical thinking, strategic thinking and out-of-the-box thinking
  • Ability to work with a diverse team of engineers (geographically diverse) of different perspectives, skillsets and backgrounds
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to non-technical and non-MBSE trained people
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical staff
  • Ability to propose and execute project plans that align with gov't customer strategic goals--proposing courses of action based on overarching government goals and objectives.
  • Energetic, motivated, self-starting

Salary Range: 

$104,200.00 - $182,400.00
