The Rider Platform team is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to help us deliver a secure, reliable, and easy to use mobile ride-hailing experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement solutions to develop our mobile Ridehail service using TypeScript and React Native

  • Write high-quality code that is well-documented, thoroughly tested, and maintainable

  • Take a role in the technical design and architecture, planning, and delivery of our initiatives

Must haves:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer

  • BS, MS or PhD in CS, Math, Physics, or equivalent real-world experience

Bonus Points:

  • Strong proficiency in Typescript

  • Experience in mobile app development and React Native

  • Experience with databases like PostgresDB, Cassandra, Spanner

  • Broad knowledge of cloud computing platforms like GCP

  • API design and deployment (Real-time, REST, GraphQL)

  • Experience in the autonomous vehicle or rideshare industry

The salary range for this position is $175,500 - 258,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
