Information Systems Security Officer

Athenix Cyber & SIGINT is seeking a Information Systems Security Officer to support a contract in the San Antonio, TX area.  

Position Overview:

Using your experience and expertise in information systems security, you will provide provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities. In addition, you will:

• Perform Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) and Information Systems Security Manger (ISSM) duties
• Perform Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities in order to attain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) and Authority to Connect (ATC)
• Review, prepare, and update AIS accreditation packages
• Perform AIS self-inspections, provide security coordination and review of system test plans
• Identify AIS vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures
• Represent the customer on various technical review and inspection teams
• Conduct security surveys and gather pertinent security documentation
• Maintain AIS security records and prepare Co-Utilization Agreements
• Prepare reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systems
• Ensure AIS and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices
• Assist with the development of certification and accreditation (C&A) efforts
• Review, track, and conduct AIS training
• Produce RMF packages for higher headquarters review and approval
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Directly related professional and/or military experience
• IAT II certification
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required
