Supervisory Intelligence Specialist (Staff Management)

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience includes one full year at the GS/GG-14 level with providing support for combat operations and maintenance/repair of combat essential systems of armed forces, coordinating long-ranger strategies for intelligence operations, representing U.S. national intelligence agencies, and performing administrative functions for staff/subordinates. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data. This position is considered Emergency-Essential (E-E) in support of the Army's mobilization and wartime mission during periods of increased tension and mobilization and could be assigned to any location worldwide. The incumbent must sign DD Form 2365, stating as a condition of employment, the conditions described above and the requirement to maintain certain levels of medical, including the anthrax vaccination; security; performance; conduct; and overall fitness that make them suitable for assignment to an austere and stressful combat environment is understood. A family care plan is required for single parents or families where both parents are emergency essential, including situations where one parent is in the military. Failure to perform the duties of this position in an emergency may result in appropriate action - defined as separation for the efficiency of the Federal service under the procedures contained in 5 CFR 752.
