Ryanair is currently recruiting a Business Innovation Programme Manager to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.
As part of Ryanair's continued expansion to over 750 aircraft and 300 millions guests per year, we have a fantastic opportunity for a data driven individual to join our largest dept, Inflight in a newly created position.
This is an important role that will support the business as we continue through a period of sustained growth. The successful candidate will be based in our Group Headquarters in Dublin and work closely with senior management to bring fresh ideas to the table, accelerate change, helping design, test, train and support projects that will have a meaningful impact across the business.
Reporting to the Director of Inflight, you will work closely with Inflight Team members from discovery to implementation of new IT products that will work to drive Ryanair’s long term strategic vision. Working as part of an agile team, you will play a key role in defining and shaping projects and approaches to delivery. Duties include but not limited to:
- Act as the Inflight IT and systems Subject Matter Expert and ‘Superuser’
- Partner with Inflight teams to understand their needs and requirements, make recommendations and deliver solutions to problems that may arise and plan a roadmap that prioritizes implementation to support Inflight business objectives.
- Establish and maintain relationships by being the key coordinator between Inflight and the wider business including internal stakeholders such as SAP Community, IT support and external vendor groups in the implementation of new modules and IT systems
- Translate business requirements into system features, design specifications and document new and/or existing application requirements while ensuring that new or existing systems meet business requirements & practices and that all application interface issues/concerns are understood, documented and addressed satisfactorily
- Develop, document and automate key Inflight processes
- Work to build optimisation tools that improve the decision-making process within all areas of Inflight by building complex planning models in order to deliver cost effective solutions
- Ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
- Can think outside of the box and already have a track record of being involved in business-critical projects
- A perfectly organized character, fast and flexible with an eye for detail

- Experience with change or project management
- Passion and keen interest in aviation
- Experience of working in agile teams, responsive to changing business priorities
- Experience of Stakeholder Management
- Solid communication and presentation skills
- Proactive and independent, a team player by nature
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
- Analytical skills
