In the role of Equipment Specialist Leader working in Golden, CO, you will be part of the Golden Malting Leadership Team.  You will be responsible for a 24/7 asset care team comprised of Plant Maintenance Mechanics, Instrumentation & Controls Electricians, and Senior Specialists. You will be responsible for driving functional problem solving, innovations and process improvement of assets, processes, and technology.  You will provide support and expertise for asset management, machine availability, reliability, and performance.

 

Through collaboration with other roles throughout Malting, you will help guide Golden Malting towards the vision of a high-performance team culture and drive change management initiatives to continually improve people, plant, and processes to meet World Class Operations Standards. You will support the department’s Progressive Maintenance Pillar team in establishing and executing a relevant and impactful master plan on an annual basis.

 

This position reports to the Unit Manager - Malting and works closely with maintenance leads, process leads, line leads, skilled trades & malting specialists.

 

What You’ll Be Brewing:

• Provides leadership to the Golden Malting Maintenance team
• Provides leadership towards the optimal function and reliability of equipment in Golden Malting
• Cultivates a strong workplace environment founded on trust, respect, and accountability
• Supports the overall asset management strategy in Golden Malting
• Collaborates at a high level with maintenance, operations, and leadership teams to guide and support overall departmental performance.
• Supports capital & expense projects from start to finish, occasionally as the primary project manager
• Coaches, develops and mentors equipment specialists in building, maintaining and improving equipment expertise capability and ownership.

• An advanced degree in Business Management, Project Management or Engineering is a plus.
• Previous experience in an engineering/maintenance leadership/managerial position in a manufacturing environment
• Possesses a proven track record of achievement in a high speed/volume manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrable evidence of driving World Class Supply Initiatives to deliver on challenging objectives.
• You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
