Clinical Specialist

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Clinical Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Offering hands-on technical/clinical training to a variety of audiences in the ortho & dental practice.
  • Providing ongoing clinical integration support of new and existing customers to accelerate adoption of their custom smiles products and systems.
  • Assisting sales representatives in co-selling and uptake of the custom smiles system offerings.
  • Interfacing with cross-functional business teams to collaborate on training process, protocols, and integration.
  • Participating and presenting at various tradeshows and special educational events.

Driving Requirements:

  • This position requires the use of a personal vehicle for company business and participation in Solventum’s Fixed and Variable Reimbursement (FAVR) program. As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully complete a pre-hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review and maintain ongoing eligibility, including compliance with Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy sign-off. Ongoing monitoring of motor vehicle history will be conducted.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution AND minimum of five (5) years of orthodontic clinical work experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED AND minimum of eight (8) years of orthodontic clinical work experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Three (3) years of clear aligner treatment experience and digital custom workflows used in orthodontics and dentistry.
  • A current, valid Drivers License

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Certification as Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Certified Orthodontic Assistant (COA)
  • Strong team and customer orientation with successful experience in coaching, motivating, and training.
  • Demonstrates strong presentation and coaching skills, is self-motivated with excellent time management skills, has exceptional drive, creative energy, and outstanding people skills.
  • High level of proficiency in office desktop applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Zoom).

Work location: Remote - Candidate must reside in or around the Chicago area

Travel: May include up to 60% domestic travel
