Job Description

• Provide strategic direction and guidance to the executive team, including Revenue, Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Finance.
• Results-driven, ensuring KPI targets are widely communicated and are of focus for the entire team.
• Lead by example in developing --quality relationships with our guests and internal guests.
• Analyzes feedback and trends from guest satisfaction platforms to enhance the guest experience and take action when appropriate.
• Works with the Director of Talent & Culture to support career development, culture, recruitment, and recognition to maintain our reputation.
• Prioritizes, supports, and helps build our culture of positivity, diversity, inclusion, empowerment, and an open-door mindset.
• Champions initiatives and programs in the hotel and Accor (Planet 21, Community Outreach, DE&I, CARE, Vitality, etc.).
• Assists in sustainability efforts and promoting our Vitality initiatives to support our brand.
• Expert knowledge of the facilities, services, amenities, and events offered by the hotel and surrounding area.
• Ensures standards and procedures are maintained for internal and external audits, including LQA, AAA, and corporate requirements.
• During the course of duty, you will have access to certain information which demands the utmost confidentiality. Discretion must be exercised at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years experience required in a senior leadership role within a similar hotel brand and/or similar size four star/four diamond.
• 8+ years experience communicating with Presidents, CEOs, and Vice Presidents of companies.
• 8+ years experience in communication with property owners.
• Knowledge of applicable government regulations and requirements.
• Ability to lead a property during renovation efforts while maintaining the guest experience.
• Experience in both union and non-unionized environments is required, the ability to implement new strategies and support current ones regarding colleague relations and labor management.
• Experience in a large group and business travel hotel with leisure guests on weekends preferred.
• Ability to respond to changes dictated by the needs of the industry, company, or hotel.
• Regional market experience is an asset.
• Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with sensitive situations in an effective manner.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and assume the role of solution-oriented mediator.
• Demonstrate ability to forecast sales, trends, labor, and purchasing while providing clear, consistent direction and training.
