Digital Project Manager (Website Manager)

Wistia is looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager to help deliver the best in-class experience on wistia.com. Our marketing website is the top driver of impact on our business and one of the most important expressions of our brand. As the Digital Project Manager of wistia.com, you will partner with Marketing and Product team leaders to develop a long-term strategy and holistic vision for our entire marketing website. Reporting directly to the Director of Creative and Content, you will drive prioritization for our initiatives and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Design, and Engineering. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in aligning the website with our broader go-to-market efforts, encompassing brand, customer acquisition, and product adoption/expansion goals. By understanding the diverse needs of our business, you will craft a roadmap that effectively supports our overarching business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering and external agencies to understand the business opportunities for wistia.com. Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution that balances all of those perspectives.
- Improve customer journey conversions, optimize the user experience, increase organic acquisition of new customers, and implement SEO best practices.
- Leverage our research partners to deeply understand our customers, how our brand resonates with them and what problems our product solves for them. Apply this understanding when collaborating with the Marketing and Product teams on website projects.
- Build and maintain a roadmap of projects, deliverables, and initiatives for our website, ensuring projects are prioritized to achieve KPIs. This includes aligning key stakeholders and contributors across multiple teams.
- Create detailed project plans, outlining requirements, task owners, milestones, dependencies & key risks for website related projects. This can include new user experiences, A/B testing plans, existing content updates, etc.
- Establish website KPIs and collaborate with business intelligence on reporting dashboards using analytics platforms to track website performance and gain insight into user behavior, customer patterns, and opportunities across the website.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure proper setup and maintenance of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mode, Snowplow, FullStory, Sentry.io, etc.) and deploy & monitor new tracking events as needed.
- Partner with internal and external experts to ensure the site is continuously optimized for search, and to help Wistia stay on top of industry changes that stand to impact website performance.
