As a Manufacturing Systems Technician - Machine Intelligence you will have the opportunity to manage computer hardware systems, troubleshooting problematic components, administering databases, understanding data architecture, and ensuring seamless communication protocols.  Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by being responsible for Forcam Manufacturing Execution System administration tasks, report writing, system maintenance, and configuring the system to meet user needs while maintaining structural integrity.  The team you will be working with is collaborative and innovative, and values challenging work and diversity of thought. 

 

So, what will you be doing as a Manufacturing Systems Technician-Machine Intelligence?

1. Hardware and Software Management:
   • Oversee the maintenance and management of hardware systems integral to the machine intelligence project.
   • Ensure proper functioning and optimization of software systems utilized within the project.
2. Cybersecurity Protocols:
   • Work with the Corporate IT team to implement and adhere to cybersecurity protocols to safeguard sensitive project data and systems from potential threats.
3. System Communication and Reliability:
   • Maintain robust system communications to facilitate seamless data exchange and workflow efficiency.
   • Ensure the reliability and uptime of systems essential for the success of the machine intelligence project.
4. Troubleshooting and Repair:
   • Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
   • Perform repairs or coordinate with external vendors for complex hardware component replacements when necessary.
5. Database Management:
   • Manage databases used in the project, including understanding architecture, data structure, and relationships.
   • Ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance of the database systems.
6. Data Understanding and Communication Protocols:
   • Gain a deep understanding of the data being collected, its sources, and communication protocols to facilitate effective data handling and processing.
   • Collaborate with team members to establish efficient data workflows and protocols.
7. Forcam Administration and Reporting:
   • Undertake Forcam administration tasks including system maintenance, user management, and configuration updates.
